# Pricing

Every business starts with **100 free credits**. One reply uses about 1.5 credits.

## How plans are priced

* **You get 100 free credits to try Baza.** Every new business gets them once. They don't come back each month.
* **Everything the AI does uses credits.** That includes replies, quick replies, follow-ups, summaries, and reading your website and files. The more the AI reads and writes, the more credits it uses. A reply uses about 1.5 credits. See [Credits](https://docs.baza.chat/billing/credits.md).
* **When the free credits are used up**, you can buy more credits, which never expire. Or you can add a card and pay each month for what the AI used. Either way, a credit costs \$0.01 on every plan.
* **Pay as you go has no monthly fee.** Pro has a monthly fee, paid at the start of the month, for more features and more room.

## Paying

You pay by card, in one of two ways:

* **Buy credits once:** packs of $10, $25 or \$50. They never expire.
* **Add a card:** each month, pay for what you used after your credits ran out.

If you do neither, your assistant stops when your credits run out. You never get a surprise bill.

You always pay in US dollars. Prices shown in your own currency on the website are rounded estimates. [Paying](https://docs.baza.chat/billing/paying.md) has the details.

## Your bill can't run away

You set the most you want to spend each month. It's \$50 unless you change it. We email you when you reach 80% of it, and your assistant stops at the limit. See [Monthly spending limit](https://docs.baza.chat/billing/paying.md#monthly-spending-limit).

## Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time from your settings.

* **Pro:** if it isn't for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and get all your money back.
* **Credits you bought:** credits you haven't used are refunded if you ask within 14 days of buying them.
