# Invitations and roles

> Bring your team into the inbox, and choose what each person can do.

Each person on your team gets their own login. Everyone reads conversations and replies to your customers from the same inbox, and the inbox shows who is replying.

How many people you can have depends on your plan:

* **Pay as you go:** one person.
* **Pro:** up to 3 people.

Invitations that nobody has accepted yet count toward that number.

## Invite someone

**1. Open your team**

Go to [**Settings → Team**](https://baza.chat/dashboard/settings?tab=team).
Owners and admins can see it.

**2. Enter their email**

Under **Invite by email**, enter the email address they'll sign in with.

**3. Choose a role**

Choose **Member** or **Admin**, then press **Send invite**.

They get an email with a link to join. When they open the link and sign in, they see your business and their role. Then they press **Join the team**.

* **An invitation expires after 7 days.** If yours has expired, ask whoever invited you to send a new one.
* **It only works for the email address it was sent to.** Signed in with a different address? Choose **Sign in with another account**.
* **Each person and each invitation takes a place on your plan.** When all places are taken, remove someone or withdraw an invitation before you invite another person.

Invitations waiting to be accepted are listed under **Invited, not joined yet**. Press **Withdraw** to cancel one.

## Roles

| Role | What they can do |
| - | - |
| **Owner** | Everything, including deleting the business and making someone else an owner. |
| **Admin** | The assistant, channels, team, billing and business details. Everything an owner can do, except those two. |
| **Member** | Reads conversations and replies to customers. |

You choose someone's role when you invite them: member or admin.

To change a role later:

1. Go to [**Settings → Team**](https://baza.chat/dashboard/settings?tab=team).
2. Open the **⋯** menu next to the person.
3. Choose a role.

Only an owner can make someone else an owner. A business always keeps at least one owner, so make someone else an owner before you change your own role.

The same **⋯** menu has **Remove from team**.
